Bio – Urbain Grande

Urbain Grande does not believe he is the villain of this story.

Until he hit puberty, he was the weird kid—the kind that got bullied by the boys and laughed at by the girls.

Once he hit puberty, however, his incubus DNA kicked in, and he discovered he had the power of seduction—sorta. His blood was weak. His mother was a succubus, but his father was pure human.

Even with the incubus spark, his attempts at winning over friends sputtered at first. His insecurities piled on. Eventually, he began to believe the only way he would be loved was if he forced it. He became obsessed with control. His sophomore year in high school, he discovered Frankie. He also discovered that she was immune to his spark.

He focused his obsession on her, but he could never coax her away from her friends. She deeply wounded his ego, and each time she rejected him, his obsession with having her grew.

This set things in motion that ultimately caused Frankie to run from him and hide away so he couldn’t find her. Frankie disappeared right after high school graduation.

Urbain trained to be a warlock with his cruel father, putting up with constant humiliation in order to learn to control magick despite his hybrid blood. His skills grew, and he went down a dark path. He desired a traditional patriarchal life, and this led him to twist his magick with emotion and dogma. It became a fusion of sacred geometry, scripture, and willpower. Urbain learned that power belongs to those ruthless enough to wield it against the weak.

For the nine years that Frankie was gone, Urbain tried to find her, devoted. He felt his pursuit was destined. His love demanded it. Eventually, his single-mindedness paid off.

Frankie came home. Urbain knew his chance had finally arrived.

He seeks to impose order on chaos, but only as it suits him. He equates love with ownership. He frames his cruelty as mercy.
