Bio – Sir David Cullhook

Sir David Cullhook enjoyed a warm, loving childhood until his mother was killed by brigands during a roadside robbery, a loss that reshaped his trajectory through life.

His father’s swift remarriage introduced another bitter turn. His stepmother sought to bind David to her daughter. David suspected it was in order to secure the family fortune, but he could not prove it, and his father did not believe him. When David refused to marry his step-sister, Lady Cullhook cursed him to fall in love with Duchess Olwen of Arenigs. The stepmother believed that the match was forever unattainable and thus, he would spend his days pining for the woman he loved, bear no children, and suffer unhappiness for the rest of his existence.

To escape his childhood home, David pursued knighthood, training under Duke Sigebehrt of Lloyw. During the Apfallon–Fomor War, David distinguished himself through courage and self-sacrifice, saving countless lives. Though disciplined and honorable, Cullhook’s unwavering sense of duty is compromised only by a heartache he never chose.
