Lady Ordu of Arenigs is the daughter of the Duchess of Arenigs. The sole heir, she was born and raised entirely within Apfallon’s noble courts. Her cultural upbringing has been traditional—tutors, formal occasions, and courtly expectations—but her temperament is anything but staid.
Ordu’s mother, Olwen, did everything in her power to keep Ordu’s childhood worry-free. It wasn’t until much later that Ordu realized how her father tortured her mother. Ordu does not miss her father at all.
Bright, curious, and restless, Ordu has recently been accepted into a university in Portland, a prospect that thrills her beyond measure. She is eager to experience Reality firsthand, convinced that life beyond Apfallon’s borders holds answers she hasn’t yet learned to ask.
